What we believe

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. Faith in Jesus is the means by which a person is justified. At the same time, a sinner must believe the gospel; he is commanded to repent of his sinful life, to be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38; 4:12; 8:12-17; 10:43-48; 19:1-6). Thus the various aspects of faith and obedience work together in God’s grace to reconcile us to God.

Our Pastor

Pastor Raymond Warren is the Pastor at The Pentecostals of Okeechobee. He and his wife Anna, and their famiy moved to Okeechobee in 1980. They came to this city with a tremendous desire and a deep passion to help those in need. Pastor Warren has the true heart of a shepherd. His inspiring messages are heart-felt and sincere. He is often known for his fun sense of humor and unique ability to show individual compassion. His beautiful wife Anna is an integral part of the church leadership structure as Women’s Ministry and Music director, and continues to serve in countless ministry roles throughout the body. Together they make a powerful and anointed team.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

II Corinthians 5:20

We believe that all children are gifts from God, and we count it a great privilege to have the opportunity to guide them along their own personal spiritual journey using a wide variety of activities and worship opportunities.

Our youth ministry isn’t just another cool activity to add to a busy schedule. It’s a place for students to build deep friendships, experience God personally, and be equipped for the work of ministry. When students are devoted to Jesus, they can make a big impact in their homes, schools, work place, and other areas of influence.
